What's whitedesert?
It's a collection of surreal and/or horror games and websites, with links to said games/sites (and any other resources I think are relative). Maybe analysis/summary pages too, who knows! The white desert is also the name of a location in yume nikki.
I'm also into ARGs so some of those will pop up on here too!
Why is whitedesert?
I just really like yume nikki and psychological + surreal horror combinations in general, pixel art, and making websites! I ran out of room to put new pages like these on my main site, so here we are. Plus I think it'd be neat to archive any weird shit I find. That being said, not all of this collection is strictly horror. Some of it is just plain strange.

Nov 15th, 2022: meatfangs.com is back! It's now being hosted here on neocities so I added it to the "surreal neocities" link list. Also added Possibly in Michigan to the videos/films collection.
Nov 9th, 2022: Added a bunch of classic RPGmaker games to the "Games" collection that I somehow forgot to add until today. Also added a new section to the links page, along with a link to a site containing information on old games, incl. classic RPGmaker games! This site is also what clicking on some of the games in my collection will link to.
Nov 8th, 2022: Added the collection "Miscellaneous" (near the bottom of the page) as well as the "Bongcheon-Dong Ghost" webcomic to said collection.

Sept 21st, 2021: Added unworld, one of my own sites, to the surreal neocities list. I'm kinda just playing around with it but I'm very pleased with what I've managed to code (with a LOT of help from forums lol) so far! As you can tell, it's very much inspired by local58.
Sept 19th, 2021: Added nana825763's channel to videos/films collection. The most well-known of nana's videos is username666, but they also have many other great horror videos!
Sept 15th, 2021: Added Aspicio Omniam to the ARGs/Webseries collection and Appsir Games to the games collection - wasn't sure if Appsir fit there better or in the website category but I think putting it under games works best! Super cool site and games. Links to some Appsir Games playthroughs added to links page.
Sept 14th, 2021: Added more ARGs/webseries. I promise I still care about this site, I'm just in uni and am busy lol.
March 1st, 2021: Added VIVINOS' youtube channel to videos/films section (I'll probably put any other channels I add here as well, unless I start adding a lot of them in which case I'll move them to the links page) + changed "resources" page to "links."
Feb 21st, 2021: Added a bunch of narrated stories and moved them to the resources page since their thumbnails were taking up a lot of space.

Also changed "Graphics" section to "Resources" and removed images, since it was slowing the whole site down. All images are still available, they'll just need to be manually downloaded from spiter's resource.
